EVP-Electronic Voice Phenomenon  is the phenomenon of capturing spirit voices, either on audio device's,video camera's or on digital recorder. An EVP occurs when a voice can be heard on a recording that is not audible at the time of recording. There are many theories about how EVP's occur, many people believe that the frequency of the sound that is being recorded is beyond what the human ear can hear. Others believe that an EVP occurs when a spirit entity manipulates the recording device directly.

EVP 1

At the start of this clip you can hear what sounds like a low muffled voice talking in Italian this continues in the background throughout the recording even when you can clearly hear HRPI Team Leader Mark speaking.

EVP 2

The low muffled voice continues throught this second EVP in the background but listen carefully as just after Mark first speaks you can clearly hear a spirit voice reply to him with "Arrivederci" which is italian for goodbye

EVP 3

In this clip you can hear the owner of the house say underneath this floor is the next door neighbours kitchen and then you hear Mark reply with "yeah" just after Mark speaks you can hear a loud high pitched voice which sounds like it is saying "did you hear that" directly next to the recorder (it is definitly not one of the HRPI team)

EVP 1

In this clip you will hear HRPI Co-founder Kirsty ask out "are you around me?", you will then hear a voice reply *yes i am around you".

EVP 2

In this clip Kirsty calls out "would you like our help?" you will then hear a reply of "yes i would like your help".

EVP 3

In this clip Kirsty asks "are you happy here?" she then recieves a reply of "not really".

EVP 1

In this clip you can hear Kirsty ask out "where are you in the room?" you can then hear a voice reply with "behind you".

EVP 2

In this clip you hear Kirsty ask out "do you want to go to the light?" which is followed by a short pause and then a voice replies with "help" this is one of the best EVP's that we have recorded.

EVP 3

In this clip you can hear HRPI Team Leader Mark ask out "are you the person who scratched his back?, did you think it was funny?" has soon as Mark stops speaking you hear a "woof". During our investigations at The York the team did pick up on the spirit of a dog.
