Johnnie Fiori is an actress, singer song writer; she was the guest medium on televisions Most Haunted and Most Haunted Live between 20007-08. Johnnie is also one of the psychic mediums on “Living with the Dead” along with Ian Lawman which is shown on Living and is currently on its second series. Johnnie was born a natural sensitive and likes to describe herself as a guidepost with a heart. Hello Peeps,

Welcome to my Haunted Realm Page where we discuss all things paranormal. So the Topic this month is Ouija boards. First off, I would like to say to those of you that watch our show, Living With The Dead, that you know I do not use Ouija boards. I don't like them and I never have. When I have used them in the past my energy levels drop and I begin to feel physically ill. Each time I have tried them I always wind up feeling the same way, but hey that's me. I have friends who love using them with no problems what so ever.

If you are drawn to the Ouija board then explore it, just find out how to use them. I don't believe that Ouija boards are evil, rather I think it’s just the case that different people use different tools. However, and I cannot stress this enough, you must always use sound judgment. As with any tool, you need to know what you are doing. Don't just buy a Ouija board and whip it out and start to have a go. I believe whole heartedly, if you don't know what you are doing then don't do it!

We all use tools and my tools are crystals and herbs for protection, clarity and intuition.

Any form of spirit communication should be used with respect and knowledge.
Now if you choose to continue with the idea of using a board then I would humbly suggest you Google “Ouija board stories” and read a few.

There are always pros and cons to all elements of paranormal interest and investigation.

If you have read everything you can on the subject and feel ready to take the plunge don't take it alone. Find a mentor or teacher who can guide you. Talk to people who use them on investigations, speak to people who enjoy using them. Just don't do it on your own. My partner on the show, Ian Lawman, uses a Ouija board because he is trained to do so, he knows what he is doing, he has lots of experience and he is very comfortable using one.

If your personal choice is to use a Ouija board so be it, but just do your home work first. I will step off my soap box now.

I have included some websites at the bottom that may be of interest. I will say this, after researching the history of the Ouija board or talking boards. I found out a lot of things I never knew. I find the stories very interesting. You will find that there are guidelines as to how you should proceed when using a Ouija board. There are specific do's and don'ts which I didn't know. Honestly, I enjoyed reading about Ouija boards I learned a lot. Have I changed my mind after my research or speaking with Ian Lawman about it. I am more opened minded but it's not for me. Write me back and let me know how you get on.
