Meet The HRPI Team:

Dave-Investigations Manager/Team Leader

Hi my name is Dave, I’m 28 and I live in Sheffield with my fiancée Michelle.  For as long as I can remember I have been interested in all things paranormal from Bigfoot to UFO’s, but the thing that interests me the most are ghosts.

 

I consider myself to be open-minded but leaning towards the sceptical side, as such I believe that most things can be explained scientifically however that said, I have seen things that science as yet cannot explain.

 

I’m looking forward to investigating the paranormal and getting actual proof of these phenomena.

Michelle-Investigations Manager

Hello I’m Michelle, I’m 27 I’m from Halifax originally but now live in Sheffield with my fiancé David.  One of the most memorable experiences I have ever had with the paranormal was with a sprit of a small boy whom I would say was aged around 4 years old, he would play with an exercise bike that was in the bedroom then sit on the edge of a bed and hum a nursery rhyme then just disappear.

 

I am a believer in sprits and the afterlife and am looking forward to going on many investigations with the team.

Mark-Investigations Manager/Team Leader:

My Name is Mark Phillips, I am 47 Years old and married with 3 children,To me the paranormal is one of the great mysteries of the world. Noone knows for sure if ghosts do exist or not. These are the questions that first prompted me into paranormal research and investigation.During my life as an investigator I have experienced a large number of different phenomenon. I try to keep an open mind whilst investigating and try find rational or scientific reason. However, I am at the moment I have been developing my skills as medium. Through out my childhood I saw and heard things when no one was around, Also seen several unexplained phenomenon, but since I have been investigating my opinion has changed. There have been times when I have walked into a building for the first time and given names of people and seen pictures in my mind of what is haunting the buildings and things that had been there hundred of years before me. How is this possible? The only way to find out is keep looking and find out the answers.

Janice:

Hi, my name is Janice I’m 52 years old and into the paranormal big time. I saw my first ghost when I was eleven, my sister Susan passed away at nine years old quite suddenly and a couple of days later I saw her sat on my bed smiling at me as if to say goodbye. Then a couple of years ago my dad passed away (he had Parkinson’s Disease) and then I saw him sat on the sofa at home quite well and calm, I said hello he turned and smiled and faded away. I really do believe in the power of the spirit world.

Sean:

Hi, My name is Sean, I'm 26 years old from Sheffield and I have been into the paranormal for just over 4 years, My first experience was when I worked in a bar where glasses and tables used to move on there own, we regularly heard foot steps when no one was there, This got me thinking maybe there is something out there.
 
After doing paranormal investigations for 4 years I am a very strong believer. I have seen everything from apparitions to things moving on their own and even been pushed down some stairs when their was only me in the room.

Hello there!  My name is Dawn, I’m 34 and live in Sheffield.  I’ve always had an interest in the paranormal from an early age as I have never believed “this is it”. I have had things turn up in places I KNOW I have looked for them, but on third, sometimes 4th inspection – there they are and I believe this is someone watching over me and helping me – whether some people believe that or not. I love watching films and programmes about the paranormal too and I am very much looking forward to being involved in investigations and hopefully experiencing something tangible first hand.

Paul:

My name is Paul I'm 17 and a newcomer to all things paranormal. My interest started with my dad (Mark) and going with him on many investigations throughout the country. I enjoy going on investigations even though I am a sceptic I have had no personal paranormal experiences, but hoping to be proved wrong in the future

Hello, I'm Lauren, I'm 21 and live with my partner and daughter in Rotherham. I have always been interested in the paranormal, Although i have never experienced anything first hand. I come from a very spiritual family, most of whom believe they have experienced hard proof to many paranormal phenomena. I remain skeptical though and i hope to find proof to after life exsistance at investigations.

Hi my name is Hannah and i'm 22. I've always been fascinated with the paranormal and enjoy reading about the possible scientific explanations for paranormal events. I always try and find a rational explanation for anything strange and have never had an experiance that i would comfortably be able to confirm that was supernatural. I've seen and heard some pretty weird things though. I guess i'm a sceptic believer!
