Orbs are a form of energy from an unknown source that cannot be seen by the naked eye but can be seen on Infrared monitors and can be recorded on video cameras and captured on photographic equipment. Orbs are not the same as ghost lights which are visible to the naked eye. Orbs are not dust particles, moisture, static discharge they are not strong enough to set off motion detectors. They float and change direction at considerable speed. They appear indoor and outdoors and are known to be very strong in haunted locations, some modern paranormal investigators say orbs are the strongest evidence for spirit activity. Orbs should not be confused with arcs of light on the camera lens that often appear on photos, especially photos taken on Digital cameras. These are caused by light being bounced off reflective surfaces and other light sources not visible to the naked eye. Orbs are deemed typically white or pale blue but genuine orbs appear bright on photos and video evidence and appear to be dense. For people who believe orbs to be of paranormal origin, there are many beliefs regarding their purpose and how they came to be:
· Orbs are the souls of spirit beings manifesting as balls of energy
· Orbs are viewing devices for spirits not in the atmosphere of where the orbs are being captured
· Orbs are energy emitting from people and objects which the spirit can use for it’s own energy
· Orbs are energy from historical events that have happened in the atmosphere of a place (The logic behind this theory is that the atmosphere records events and the more energy that is in a place, like lets say if a place had a tragedy happen there such as a murder or violent death this would leave more energy behind and the energy is being shown in the form of an orb)
· An orb is the first sign of a spirit trying to manifest itself
Another explanation for orbs besides being a paranormal phenomenon is that orbs are natural energy structures that are a normal occurrence in the physical world but have gone unnoticed until now.
How To Tell If An Orb Is Paranormal
Orbs are typically spherical in shape and can be of different colour and intensity, but are more commonly seen as white spheres. Some orbs that have been captured on camera can give the appearance that they have been in rapid movement by showing a blurry trailing effect following behind the orb. If you believe you have captured an orb, the first thing you should do is try to eliminate all possible natural causes. As orbs can be caused by moisture, dust and reflection of light. If you capture an orb in a clean, moisture free and dust free room with all known causes of light reflection removed it is completely impossible to eliminate the possibility of the orb being of paranormal origin. If this is the case then analyse the time previous and after the orb was captured, did you or anyone else sense anything unusual in the atmosphere or were there any unusual circumstances.
