Haunted Realm Paranormal Investigators

Where The Paranormal Is Normal

HRPI Interview Paul Dale Roberts:

Ghost Writer, Paranormal Investigator for Haunted Paranormal Investigations of Northern California and Gold Rush Ghosts

Paul Dale Roberts is Also An Honorary Member of HRPI

How did you first become interested in the Paranormal?

I believe I lived in a haunted home on Effy Street in Fresno. At this home, I was pushed into a heater. My leg had temporary burn marks from the heater. A woman would call my name and summon me to the orange grove. Of course, I would never go. All kinds of other crazy things happened. I wrote an article about this experience. I wanted to know if what I truly experienced was paranormal or were they child hood nightmares. I talk about the haunting in Fresno in detail at this link

to better understand what I experienced, I started reading books on the paranormal.

Can you remember your very first Investigation?

National Hotel in
Jackson. This is where I met Shannon' Ms'McCabe and she taught me how to use the various types of ghost hunting equipment. I became her ghost writer for the group and now I am their General Manager.

What investigation really got you excited?

Two investigations. One in Marysville where I saw the full apparition of a woman. The woman that died in this loft in Marysville was found in the bathtub. She had died of alcohol poisoning with complications of water in her lungs. The other one was in
Citrus Heights in which we conducted a seance and the walls sounded like they were ripping apart. It was something out of Hellraiser, where the Cenobites were coming through the walls. The ghosthunters-in-training were crying and running out of the room. The lady holding my hand next to me, clawed my whole arm. When the second seance commenced, there was 5 walkie talkies on. They were all on the same station and only one walkie talkie turns on and a man's voice said 'get out!' The ghosthunters-in-training all ran out and the occupant of the house had me stop the seance for good. Before the seance, we could hear a little girl giggling with our own ears and when I said hi to her, she said hi back and I was able to hear it, she was no more than 3 feet from me on the bed.

At Preston Castle, the entities called 2 female investigators 'whores' two times and we all heard it with our own ears!

Who was the most influential to you when you were starting out?

Shannon McCabe in teaching me how to use ghosthunting equipment. Brad Steiger & Erich Von Daniken when it came to knowing all aspects of the paranormal.

What keeps you interested in the paranormal?

Seeking out the unknown and discovering something unique. We are like pioneers in a field that many people don't want to touch. I seek out the truth!

How have your opinions on the paranormal changed since your early years?

I want to know answers to everything paranormal. I want answers on UFOs, answers on Bigfoot, answers on if we actually lose 21 grams after death? My opinions haven't swayed, I believe the universe is very mysterious and we are tapping on unknown aspects of how this universe is made up. When I was in the US Army's Military Intelligence as an Intelligence Analyst, I learned that our Military knew about the existence of UFOs! Yes! There is life out there!

You appeared in Conversations with a Serial Killer. What case did you work on and what was it like appearing on the show?

I actually worked on many serial killer cases. I worked on the San Francisco Zodiac, Doreathea Puente aka The Boarding House Lady, Leonard Lake, Charles Eng, Juan Corona, I-5 Strangler aka Roger Kibbe, I-5 Killer aka Randall Woodfield, Gerald & Charlene Gallegos, Richard Trenton Chase aka The Vampire of Sacramento. The one that stuck out for Two-Four Productions were the grisly murders of Richard Trenton Chase. They flew down from England and had Shannon and I, take them around to all of the murder sites. There are a lot of residual haunting activity at murder sites and the investigation with Conversations with a Serial Killer came out good. This is where we got the 'whores' comments from the entities at the Preston Castle.

You are president of Jazma Online can you tell our readers about this?

I promote writers and artists that are trying to get a foothold into the comic book industry. I published only one comic book in my lifetime called The Legendary Dark Silhouette and Howard Nash - Independent Movie Producer Howard Nash is making a movie out of the comic book and production should be at the end of 2009. I am also a reviewer of comic books and have written many comic book articles for various publications.

So is it true you were in the Guinness Book of World Records for Disco Dancing?

For one month and then someone in
South Africa beat my 205 hours of disco dancing record. I also made it into Ripley's Believe it or Not and you can see the cartoon by Clicking Here

I later did a few disco movies in Korea and was a dance extra in Rollerboogie, Skatetown USA and Grad Night. I auditioned for the Gong Show and American Bandstand. The Gong Show didn't really like the disco scene and I was rejected. American Bandstand said I was too old for their show. I think the only movie where I didn't dance was the movie Inchon with Richard Roundtree.

Is there one case you are working on at the moment you can tell our readers about?

I recently got contacted by the History Channel and they may follow us around at
Mount Shasta, as we hunt down Batsquatch. I have my fingers crossed!

What are your plans for the future?

I have a million articles published here and there...it would be nice to get a book out! Shannon?
